Don’t give in the first impression
Choosing a venue is usually one of the first elements of wedding organization. Before making the right decision, it is worth paying attention to few important details that are not so obvious at first glance, but have a significant impact on the final effect.
Every day, more and more hotels, restaurants and wedding halls advertise their offers on the market.
Such a wide availability of places makes many brides feel dizzy. Therefore, you shall consider first how many people you plan your event for. Limited space may make guests seated too close to each other uncomfortable and service might be difficult. On the other hand, a room that is too large will cause unnecessary scattering of guests, making it look empty. Before making the final decision, if possible, see the room prepared for another wedding. Thus, you will be convinced about the arrangement of tables, the type of tableware, the quality of tablecloths and chair covers, and many other details that will help you make the right decision.
Except for the hall’s size, the interior design and type and amount of lighting are equally important.
Organizing a wedding involves many unexpected expenses. By choosing a room that does not require investing in additional decorations and countless flowers, we will save a large amount of money. Additionally, when planning a wedding budget, it is also worth carefully reviewing the offer of a given hall and making sure that the initial offer does not include hidden costs, such as service fees, hall rental, chair covers, etc. It often happens that after summing up all the previously mentioned elements, the room that initially seemed to be one of the cheaper ones, ultimately is not. It is good to spend a little more time on thoroughly comparing the offers of various facilities. Many of them also offer a wedding cake, flower decorations, drinks, a suite for the bride and groom, place cards with the names of the guests or a decorative board with a seating plan for regular prices.
An additional advantage of a given place is the possibility of tasting the dishes before signing the contract.
Due to such a possibility, we will gain confidence in the quality of served dishes. It is also good to ask about the alcohol service itself. Find out whether on the wedding day you have to look after the empty bottles yourself and make sure that your guests’ glasses are not empty, or whether it will be the responsibility of the staff and you can just enjoy the moment. Taking care of the well-being and safety of our guests, it is a good idea to choose a room with a wooden dance floor or carpet. Slippery tiles may not be the best choice, especially for women in high heels.
When inviting guests from abroad, choose a place that provide you with an appropriate number of accommodations.
When organizing a wedding, hotels usually offer accommodation at lower prices. Guests coming to Poland will definitely appreciate the facilities in the city center, close to the Old Town, museums and other interesting tourist attractions, where they can spend their free time.
Choosing the right wedding hall might be challenging, so give yourself a little more time to look for the right place and consider all benefits and drawbacka of each place. The most importantly, don’t give in the first impression!
