Wedding in winter? Great idea
Most of wedding parties are organized from May to October. Much less couples decide to organize a wedding in winter due to lower temperatures and no guarantee of sunny weather. However, it is worth looking into the benefits of the winter wedding, as it may turn out that there might be more beneifts than drawbacks.
The first and most important point that comes to my mind is bigger dates availability of wedding halls, DJs, photographers, and even churches. Couples that don’t want to wait for an available date in their chosen location should definitely consider getting married in the off-season.
As winter weddings are less popular, restaurants drive prices down.
Moreover, they enrich offers with extra elements, such as cakes included in the menu price, winter decorations of the room, accommodation at lower prices, etc. Often, other subcontractors also reduce the prices of their services, increasing competitiveness on the market.
Another argument to get married in the off-season might be a photo shoot in a winter setting. Snowflakes and sunlight reflecting off tiny ice crystals create a beautiful scenery for outdoor pictures. As days are shorter, the interiors are illuminated by candles and Christmas trees’ lights, creating a really cosy atmosphere. Sounds classy and romantic.
Let’s take into consideration few more issues. In summer, many couples look for halls with an entry to a garden or terrace. People go out to take some fresh air with pleasure but then, the wedding room looks little empty without guests willing to dance.
Moreover, as lots of people might already have holidays plans, they might not accept your invitations.
Moim zdaniem okres zimowy, świąteczny, karnawałowy to idealny moment na organizację przyjęcia weselnego, przynoszący wiele, często niedostrzeganych korzyści. Warto zatem dobrze przemyśleć, jaki termin najlepiej spełni oczekiwania Pary Młodej i gości.
